In order to make money online, you have to have a website or webpage that you own or have some amount of control of to be successful. There are a few different ways to make money with a website online and I will give you a couple in this example.
Affiliate Lead Generation- With this model, you make money by driving traffic to a webpage where the people that visit the webpage are required to take can action such as subscribing with their name, email address or other information.
You are paid a commission by the company you are affiliated with for each person that signs up, this is known as lead generation. The company later follows up with the leads to try and sell them a product or service. A good industry where affiliate lead generation is popular would be the mortgage and insurance industries.
Affiliate Product Sales- This model is similar to the affiliate lead generation, the only difference is that you would make money when the visitors to the webpage actually purchase a product, you would receive a percentage of the cost price when a visitor actually buys the product upon reaching the page.
Selling Your Own Product- This one is self explanatory, you can make money with a website or webpage you own online by driving visitors to your website to make a purchase of a product or service that you own. Your product could be physical or digital product. A good example of a digital product would be an ebook.
