The internet has revolutionized the way we consume content. No longer are we limited to network television or the local newspaper for our news and entertainment. Now, we can watch what we want, when we want, and where we want. We can also get our news and information from a variety of sources, all with a few clicks of a button.

One of the most popular ways to consume content is through video streaming services like YouTube and Netflix. These platforms offer a wide variety of content for viewers to choose from, and they are always adding new titles to their libraries. But which service is more popular? Which one gets more traffic?

To find out, we turn to Similarweb.com, a website that tracks internet traffic data. According to their latest report, YouTube is the clear winner when it comes to traffic numbers. In January 2019, YouTube had 1.9 billion visits from around the world. That’s nearly double the number of visits that Netflix received during the same time period (1 billion).

When it comes to classified ads, there is one clear king: Craigslist. This platform has been around for over two decades and it is still going strong. In fact, it receives more traffic than any other classified ads site in the world (by a lot). In December 2018, Craigslist had 1.6 billion visits from people all over the globe. That’s nearly three times the number of visits that its nearest competitor received during the same time period ( OLX with 575 million visits).

So there you have it: YouTube is the most popular video streaming service and Craigslist is the king of classified ads sites.
