Do you feel too old to begin guitar lessons from the scratch? Many a times, we think more about the time frame to enjoy an achievement. “Of what use will it be, at age fifty-five, if I start a course in law?” Are you sometimes discouraged by the above statement? There is no end to knowledge acquisition.
It is a well known fact that if you train your brain always, you always appear younger that your age. An activity -packed mind, when properly organized, is an exercise in itself to the whole body system. Age in itself does not count in one’s life, but what you accomplished with your present age is paramount.
My best friend, Mr. Odomase Mkpuka at age 62, put the age syndrome behind him and focused on his guitar lessons by tuning himself this way. Any time that he dreams of a of his guitar venture, he tunes himself as the activity being a hobby. Hobby activities, we know, is characterized by free will, pleasure and humor. These feelings propel him greatly and even make him forget about his age. He ends a day’s lesson and only wishes to continue the following time by assuming a strong will to wait for the time.
He is also gingered on by looking up to the part time income that will accrue from the guitar lessons that he is undertaking. He always feels green and energetic towards the expected income and hardly thinks of his age as a limitation. From the above points one should not think of age as an impediment for undertaking new ventures. Rather he should be positively focused for the fruition of the activity as the mind has the natural power to attract what we think about always.
