“Luxury brands are all about image and sound,” Amber says. “Your video quality needs to be impeccable—no dropped frames or fuzzy images.” Invest in good equipment and hire a professional sound designer to ensure your audio is up to par.
3 . Use music sparingly .
“Music can be a powerful tool in setting the tone of your video,” Amber says. “But beware of using too much or using the wrong type of music.” She recommends working with a composer or music supervisor to find the perfect playlist for your luxury brand video.
4 . Put your story first .
“The most successful luxury videos are those that put the story first,” Amber says. “Your viewer should feel like they are being let in on a secret—something special that they wouldn’t ordinarily have access to.” To achieve this, focus on creating an emotional connection with your viewer by sharing behind-the-scenes footage or stories that humanize your brand.
