I finally get it. I had been paying for an auto-responder service for about 5 months before I realized the power I had at my command. At first I thought it was way too complicated to set up and manage an auto-responder. ( I am sure many of you are in the same boat or have felt the same way.) So, I used a pre set up campaign for two different programs I wanted to promote. The results were poor. This was truly my own fault. I hadn’t even taken the time to look at the letters and edit them to my personal liking. I just put them up and started promoting. What a waste by me.
Now, I finally get it. I don’t know when it hit me but I decided to set up my own campaign. A free campaign offering Video Tutorials for Peoplestring. You see Peoplestring in my main On-line business focus. I spend a lot of time in the forums on there and I realized that members kept asking the same questions OVER AND OVER. I found a need. Not only did I find a need, but it was an area which I feel I have some Expertise. I am one of the Entrepreneurs of Peoplestring so I try to keep updated and informed. The questions being asked in the forums were EASY to answer. But, when you find yourself typing in the same information for an answer, I knew it was time for me to get inventive.
I sat down one weekend and set up my FIRST real auto-responder campaign that I could call my own. I was very nervous for a couple of reasons. One – It was my first REAL personal campaign. Two – I would be presenting this information to other members of Peoplestring, I wanted to be sure my info was correct. And Three – Like I said this is a Video Tutorial so I had to make the videos.
One weekend of solid work and I was finished. It was now time to release the information to the members of Peoplestring. I got an Instant Response. I started getting immediate sign ups for the series. Great news. Then, I started looking at the names of the members signing up. Some of them were seasoned Peoplestringers who have been members longer than me. Uh Oh? This would be the ultimate test. I guess I passed. I have had nothing but rave reviews about the Video Series. I even have other members asking to use my auto-responder series to send to their personal down lines. That was the ultimate compliment.
Back to the original questions, Is There Value In Using An Auto-Responder? In the month since I set up the personal series, I have over 150 subscribers. So, I am averaging around 5 subscribers per day. I think those numbers are fantastic. I now have a personal list of members of Peoplestring. These members are looking for ways to make money on-line. That is why they joined Peoplestring in the first place. By subscribing to my auto-responder series, they now see me as an expert in this field. If they enjoyed the series, they will now see me as a friend, also. Each of these subscribers are now potential referrals for any other program I want to promote via this mailing list. There is a fine line here. I am not going to spam these subscribers with every program which comes across my computer screen. But, if I find a legitimate program which I feel will be worth promoting. I now have a personal list of subscribers. That is the TRUE POWER of an auto-responder. So the answer is YES. You can achieve a Tremendous VALUE if you use an auto-responder correctly.
