Part II is here! This time we’re tackling cold email!

The number one question that every freelance copywriter wants to know is…

“Where do I get clients?”

It’s exhausting just thinking about all the options!

Should you do cold email?
Should you get on Upwork?
Should you do paid ads?

Well… I’m kicking off a brand new 30 day challenge to find out.

On this channel, I’m going to be documenting the entire process of starting over from scratch and building a new freelance copywriting business.

To build this business, I’ll be using and comparing the two most popular methods of getting clients:

1. Cold Email.

And….

2. Upwork.

Over the next 30 days, I’ll be sharing IT ALL. The ups, the downs, the pros, the cons, the ins, the outs and everything in between.

My goal is eliminate the confusion around what it takes to get started and give you a clear path toward building the writing business you want.

Not by talking about it in theory.

But by actually doing it and sharing everything I learn in the process.

*The Rules For This NEW Challenge*

Like any good challenge, there will be some rules.

So here’s how this will work…

Starting March 15 through April 15, I’m going to “start from scratch.” Meaning I can’t use any of my existing clients, contacts, or previous work samples to get deals.

(And I’ll possibly even be using an alias because there’s a lot of results that come when you Google my name + copywriter).

Because let’s be real: most new copywriters do not have these advantages.

So in this challenge, I won’t either.

The other big thing is I must dedicate equal time to each method.

I’ll be aiming to spend about 10-15 hours per week on both Upwork and Cold Emailing to get clients.

And we’ll find out what happens together.

Where will I get clients faster?

Which clients will I most enjoy?

And, most importantly to a lot of you, how much money will I make?
