Google Keyword Planner is a free online keyword research tool that helps you research and analyze keywords for your website or blog. You can use it to find new keywords related to your business or product, and to get ideas for content marketing and SEO.
To use Google Keyword Planner, first sign in to your Google Ads account. Then, click on the Tools icon at the top of the page, and select Keyword Planner from the drop-down menu.
On the Keyword Planner page, you can either search for new keywords or get ideas for new keywords. To search for new keywords, enter a word or phrase into the “Your product or service” field, and click Get ideas.
To get ideas for new keywords, click on the “Ideas” tab, and then select “Keyword ideas.” Enter a word or phrase into the “Your product or service” field, and click Get ideas.
Google Keyword Planner will then generate a list of keywords related to your query. You can use the filters on the left side of the page to narrow down the results. For example, you can filter by keyword text, location, and language.
Once you’ve found a keyword that you want to use, click on it to see more information about that keyword. This information includes the average monthly searches for that keyword, as well as the competition level.
If you want to use a keyword in your Google Ads campaign, click on the “Ad group ideas” tab. Enter the keyword into the “Your product or service” field, and click Get ideas.
Google Keyword Planner will then generate a list of ad groups that contain that keyword. You can use the filters on the left side of the page to narrow down the results. For example, you can filter by ad group type, location, and language.
Once you’ve found an ad group that you want to use, click on it to see more information about that ad group. This information includes the ad group name, the ad group type, the default bid, and the ad group status.
If you want to use an ad group in your Google Ads campaign, click on the “Campaigns” tab. Enter the ad group into the “Your product or service” field, and click Get ideas.
