This was the most eye-opening video to put together, I couldn’t believe these success stories! I interviewed two women who started incredible businesses using cricuts in creative ways, they also market and sell in totally different locations. Both of them were able to support themselves and their families in ways they couldn’t have imagined just by using their creativity and one machine started it all: the Cricut!

Here’s the biggest piece of wisdom I would like to impart to all of you:
I previously thought of a Cricut as a crafty indulgence, when I interviewed these women and realized it was an investment in a business and a small one if you really think about it, my views shifted. This is something you could start-up on the side and it could help pay for part of your rent or your school and keep growing as you go, you can build a legitimate business. These women changed the way I looked at it completely, now more than ever we need to take things into our own hands!

I hope this video is helpful, please ask any questions you have in the comments below! Please share this video with friends and family so they can also see all the ways people are creating businesses and using their Cricut.

Here are some great resources Tali found very helpful, this below is from her directly.

Love this blog post from Auntie Tay about how to ensure your Etsy sales are legal and not infringing on any copyright.

Love this page for inspiration and to learn new skills. She is the ultimate Cricut guru. She is on Youtube and this is her Facebook group. the community is super supportive if you ask questions or need help understanding something.

This is a great place to ask for help and to get some free SVG files. There’s no stupid questions and people are always eager to assist others!
Free SVGS for cricut:

For free cricut fonts:

If I have an image, such as Clip Art, that I want to make into an SVG cut file, I use this site to convert the PNG to an SVG. I then use the free Inkscape to open the design on my computer. If you are extra tech-savvy, you can use Inkscape to make edits and customize the design further, but it’s not necessary.
