WordPress is a content management system (CMS) that enables you to create a website or blog from scratch, or to improve an existing website. WordPress is free and open source software released under the GPL.
In this tutorial, I will show you how to make a WordPress website in 2022. I will assume that you have no prior experience with WordPress or website development.
First, you will need to install WordPress. You can do this by downloading the WordPress software from wordpress.org, or by using a hosting provider that offers WordPress installation.
Next, you will need to choose a domain name and a web hosting provider. I recommend using Namecheap for domain names and Bluehost for web hosting.
Once you have registered a domain name and set up web hosting, you will need to install WordPress. This can be done by following the instructions provided by your web hosting provider, or by following the instructions in my tutorial on how to install WordPress.
Once WordPress is installed, you will need to choose a theme for your website. I recommend using the Genesis Framework and the Twenty Seventeen theme.
Once you have chosen a theme, you will need to configure it to match your needs. This can be done by following the instructions in my tutorial on how to configure a WordPress theme.
Next, you will need to add content to your website. This can be done by creating new posts and pages, or by importing content from another website.
Finally, you will need to configure your website settings and optimize it for search engines. This can be done by following the instructions in my tutorial on how to optimize a WordPress website.
