Your app is finally live on the Google Play Store and you’re ready to start monetizing it. But how?

For many developers, banner ads are the most obvious choice. They’re unobtrusive, easy to implement, and can be effective if placed properly.

In this post, we’ll show you how to implement banner ads in your Android app using AdMob. We’ll also share some tips on how to get the most out of your banner ads so that they don’t interfere with the user experience.

AdMob is a mobile advertising platform that helps you monetize your Android app by displaying ads from advertisers. AdMob is free to use and easy to set up. Just create a new account and link it to your app.

Once you’ve set up your account, you need to create an ad unit. Ad units are simply containers for your ad code that tell AdMob what kind of ad to display and where to display it.

To create an ad unit, log in to your AdMob account and click on the Monetize new app button. Enter your app’s information and select Create new ad unit. Choose Banner as the ad unit type and give it a name. Finally, select an ad size and Save & Continue.

Assuming you’ve already set up an AdMob account and created an ad unit, the next step is to generate the code for your banner ad. To do this, log in to your AdMob account and click on the My Apps tab. Select the app for which you want to generate code and click on the Monetize tab. Under Add new Ad Unit, select Banner and click on the Get Code button.

This will bring up a popup with your ad unit’s code. Copy this code and paste it into your app’s code where you want the banner ad to appear. Be sure to replace YOUR_AD_UNIT_ID with the actual id of your ad unit.

Now that you have banners set up in your Android app, it’s time to start making money! Here are a few tips to help you get started:

1) Test different placements for your banner ads
2) Use multiple banner sizes
3) Try different ad types
4) Set up automatic refreshes
5) Don’t forget about mediation
