Where does the money come from? I always wondered.

If you’re not recruiting, how do you make $48,330.00 every month in residual income?

Let me give you a hint…

Don’t use your USANA corporate website or build a website with your voice giving the USANA sales presentation. Don’t even advertise the business opportunity.

In fact, the best way to build USANA online, is to stop thinking like an MLM distributor.

I want you to start thinking like an internet marketer. Think dollars spent and sales made instead of prospects and recruiting.

In the traditional MLM world of warm markets, prospects cost nothing.

But on the internet, each visitor has a monetary value–a cost associated with them. Whether or not they buy, they cost you. So it makes sense that if you want to profit, you monetise as many of your site’s visitors as quickly as you can.

First, think of your USANA opportunity as a product. In fact, in most cases because it costs $500+ to join plus $250 to remain active, this is a high-priced product which is difficult to sell. Don’t start with it.

Understand that the cheaper the product you’re selling, the easier it is to sell. Different people have different spending abilities and willingness to spend. Therefore, the cost of your product and the number of buyers is undeniably directly proportional.

If you use pay-per-click advertising, you can expect a typical visitor to cost you 50 cents. You may make the mistake of pitching the visitor straight away on the USANA opportunity by sending them right to your USANA replicated website.

Guess what the 50 cent prospect does?

They listen for 30 seconds, get bored, and leave. You’ll never see the prospect or your 50 cents again. Do this enough times, and you’ll be dead broke before you know it.

As an internet marketer, you understand that the internet is fast paced–visitors to your site don’t need to be polite and stick around to listen to your pitch. Instead, design a special, simple, to-the-point page that grabs the prospect’s attention immediately.

First, push as many visitors into your marketing pipeline by “selling” them on allowing you to communicate with them so you can keep them around long enough to sort them into their respective budget-type as buyers.

Business opportunity seekers want to earn money, the company’s products and compensation plan don’t mean anything to them–give them something generic to do with solving a money problem.

Ask for an E-Mail address in exchange for that free generic information. Otherwise, don’t share anything with them. You’ll lose a few visitors, but the secret is to compel as many of them as you can into leaving just their email address.

Even if you do a good job you can still expect to lose 2 or more out of 10 prospects that land on your page. If you spend $5 to get 10 visitors, you’re actually paying 63 cents per E-Mail address.

Next your job is to earn an average of at least 63 cents per visitor. Offer an inexpensive product that will convert, say, 25% of your visitors into buyers. A $20 information product can sell to 25% of the people who “bought into” your free information. What does that product look like? Perhaps a tutorial on network marketing.

With a little practice, you can get 400 visitors to your site daily and turn 300 into “free product buyers”. When you sort 25% of those 300 as buyers of a $20 product, you’ll earn $1,500.00 residual income per day. On the internet, because everything is automated, it’s always residual.

A certain ratio of your second group of buyers will have budget available (and willingness) to buy something more expensive. That’s why you create a third group of buyers, by selling for example, a $200 product. But only 0.5% of them fit into that group.

If you’re thinking like an MLM distributor you wouldn’t have offered that $200 sale at all, and you would have missed out on an additional $300 daily.

Did you break even?

It cost 63 cents to get the first group of buyers, the free product buyers. You spent 0.63 x 300=$189 per day. It cost nothing to get the second and third groups of buyers.

But you made $1,800. That’s a $1,611.00 daily profit, which is not bad. As an internet marketer you’re making $48,330 per month passively before you even recruit.

Now you’re allowed to go into MLM mode to get your fourth group of buyers. Pitch your business opportunity to this tiny but big-spending group. It’s the hardest sale of all and will fit into the budget range of an even smaller ratio of visitors. You could recruit only 5 people per month–but do you care?

Let’s compare to marketing MLM like an MLM distributor instead. Assume a best-case scenario where you do a great sales pitch to the same set of 400 daily leads and that the same 5 business opportunity buyers exist in that group. In theory you could sell them a $2,200 Propak business opportunity.

After spending $5,670 that month and getting those 5 new distributors, you’ll earn an initial $2,200 bonus (USANA pays you 10%-20% of the sale: 2,200 x 5 new distributors x 20% = $2,200).

Your profit: $2,000 – $5,670 = -$3,670. A loss of over $3,000 per month.

If you intend to run your MLM online like an MLM distributor, you’ll lose money. You’re better off marketing to your friends and family where your sales conversion ratios are much higher.

Building an MLM business online needs a 180 degree mind-set flip. However, if you’re willing to make the change in your approach, you’ll earn much more.
