Here are the basic steps you need to take to make Facebook run faster:
Remove any plugins from your web browsers
Clean out any corrupted settings in the “registry” of your PC
Make sure that Javascript is installed correctly
Here’s how to fix the Facebook problems on your computer:
Step 1 – Remove Any Plugins For Your Browsers
To remove the plugins that your browsers may have, you should look to perform these steps:
For Chrome
In the “address bar”, type “Chrome:Extensions”
Remove any of the extensions that are listed
For Firefox
Click “Tools” > “Add-Ons”
Remove any of the add-ons present
Step 2 – Re-Install JavaScript
Next you need to re-install the Javascript software on your PC. This is done by first downloading a program called “JavaRA” and then using it to remove the current edition of Java on your system. After doing that, you should then look to install a new version of Java, which will allow your computer to process the various files that allow Facebook to operate correctly.
Step 3 – Re-Install Your web Browser
Click “Start” > “Control Panel” > “Uninstall A Program”

Restart Your PC
Re-Install The Program Again
Step 4 – Clean Out The Registry
You should also look to clean out the registry of your PC. This large database is used to primarily help your computer to process the various important options that are required to help it run, and is therefore used continually to help the likes of Facebook operate properly. Unfortunately, a lot of errors can be caused by the registry of your system, and as a result it’s recommended that you are able to clean out the problems that it may have by using a program called a “registry cleaner”.
