Douglas Crockford is a senior JavaScript architect at PayPal. He is the author of JavaScript: The Good Parts, which has been translated into 12 languages. He is also the author of JSON: The Fat-Free Alternative to XML.
Crockford is a frequent speaker at conferences and user groups, and has taught JavaScript to developers around the world. He is a member of the ACM and IEEE.
Crockford’s work on JavaScript has earned him numerous awards, including the 2012 Dr. Dobb’s Excellence in Programming Award, and the 2013 John D. Carmack Award.
Crockford’s latest project is The Better Parts, a series of video courses on advanced JavaScript development.
