So.. do Instagram paid promotions work? I decided to test Instagram advertising on a small account. Please note that the results I got from this won’t necessarily be the same outcome for you, it can depend on a range of factors from existing following, customising your audience, your content etc. I thought this would be useful to provide an insight to how Instagram paid promotions work using the promote button, and how effective they are at increasing Instagram followers and likes (how to improve Instagram engagement). As you can see I only invested a minimal amount into this, so let me know if you want me to film a bigger investment, or using instagram paid promotions for my youtube account.
Please note- the promote button is only available on certain Instagram account types, my fashion account is set to ‘blogger’, and I believe the promote option is also available on a business account. I show in the video how you can change from a personal to professional account.
