When it comes to building a website, there are many different options out there. You can use a number of different content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal. Or, you can opt to use a static site generator (SSG), such as Hugo.

If you’re not familiar with Hugo, it’s a popular open source SSG that is known for being fast, easy to use, and flexible. In this episode of Build On Weekly, we’ll show you how to build a website with Hugo on AWS Amplify.

To get started, you’ll need to sign up for an AWS account and create an Amplify project. Once you’ve done this, you can connect your Git repository and begin deploying your site.

If you’re not familiar with Git, don’t worry! We’ll walk you through the entire process and show you how to push your changes live.

Once your site is live, we’ll show you how to add a custom domain and enable SSL/TLS encryption. We’ll also show you how to set up continuous deployment so that your site is automatically updated whenever you push changes to your Git repository.
