Welcome to Content Marketing Examples, as we take a look March’s best creative ideas. Let’s kick things off…

As the hype builds for the latest Game of Thrones series, Sky Atlantic commissioned snow artist Simon Beck to create a huge dire wolf portrait in the tundra. Using just his skiis and intuition, it’s a genius piece of work on a really innovative canvas – and it’s certainly got a lot of people excited for the launch on 24th April.

From skiis to trainers, this one’s from Reebok. Promoting their new ZPump 2.0 running shoes, they installed a smart little machine in the centre of Stockholm to see if people were “fast enough” for the range. That meant people sprinting past to get their reward, a pair of trainers for themselves. I really got the attention of the high street and over 280,000 people online as well, meaning it was definitely a hit.

Next is William Hill who, to get punters geed up for the Cheltenham Festival took racing fashion to the next level. With tweed suits being a common sight at horse racing events, the bookmaker got Sir Anthony McCoy to unveil the world’s first tweed outfit for a horse. Complete with a shirt, tie and cap, the ensemble used 18 metres of the fabric for the creation – and the press coverage shows it was all worth it.

Last on the list is an amazing real life third person shooter, inspired by the new Hitman game. Following on from the chatroulette version that went viral, RealmPictures brought back the concept on an epic scale, as people directed the character to successfully assassinate the target and escape alive. There were numerous ways to complete the mission, as players distracted the guards, went undercover, strangled the watchmen, and those who completed the level got to drive away in a pimped out Ferarri. It was a seriously impressive feat, racking up 1.5million views in the process.
