The best keyword tools can only go so far, though. You still have to put the content together to write something awesome. That’s when search intent and knowing your target audience comes into play.
Still, the above tools are some great ways to find keywords for free. Some will double as entire SEO platforms that can provide a lot of insight for your blog and the sites of your competitors.
These keyword research tools are all free to use. I didn’t include platforms that only had “free trials.” Although, some of them do have free trials of their tools should you decide to sign up. Personally, I find many of these are effective enough as free platforms to really get your blog off the ground.
In reality, it’s hard to say which is my favorite. I am partial to Ubersuggest, SEMrush, and Rank Tracker. But, you will have to decide which keyword research tool is best for you.
